He was a freedom fighter and worked in various sectors in Madras Presidency. Under the British rule, Brahmins were dominating and it was the time untouchability and racism were common and popular in office premises too. Brahmins used to corner the non-Brahmins even though they are well educated. Non-Brahmins were not allowed to work in offices and they were not allowed to fight for their rights.
